David Wheatley, AKA, Ras Professor, was born March 19th, 1970, in the parish of St. Elizabeth & raised in Spanish Town, St. Catherine. His first single was recorded in Jamaica for Scandal Productions in 1991, entitled “Music Business.” Residing in Philadelphia since the 90s Ras Professor has been very busy in the local reggae circuit. He has been awarded the opportunites to open for many international acts including Mighty Diamonds, Tinga Stewart, Sugar Minott, Shabba Ranks, Capelton, Luciano, Richie Spice, Morgan Heritage & many more. Aiming to use his music to promote messages of fundamental rights, enlightenment and equal opportunity on a global level, Ras Professor is a crowd pleaser, & always in full form.
